This policy explains what Rap Video Maker (rapvideomaker.io) collects when you use the site, why we collect it, who else handles it and how long we keep it.

Adults only

Rap Video Maker is for adults aged 18 or over. Do not upload a photo of anyone under 18.

Your photo is deleted as soon as your video is made

The photo you upload is used only to make your video. We delete it as soon as the video is made, or as soon as the attempt ends without one. We use your photo only to make your video and to check it for safety. We do not sell your photos and we do not use them to train AI models.

If you are asked to sign in or to buy credits before your video can start, your own browser keeps what you typed (the topic, the names, the style, the tone and the box you ticked) in this tab for up to 30 minutes, so that you do not have to type it again. It never keeps your photo: you pick the photo again when you come back. Your photo reaches us only when you press the button.

Your videos and lyrics are deleted after 30 days

What you type into the video maker (the topic, up to 5 names, the style and the tone), the lyrics we write and the video we make are deleted 30 days after they are made. Download the videos you want to keep before then, because we cannot restore them afterwards.

We use what you type only to write and perform your rap, to make your video and to check it for safety. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train AI models. Please do not type personal details you would not want in a rap, such as an address or a phone number.

What else we collect

• Account: when you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account ID and email address and keep them to run your account.
• Credits and orders: your credit balance, each time credits were added, used or returned, and your order records (provider order number, pack and amount). We never see your card number or payment-account password.
• Videos: the style and tone you chose and whether the video succeeded, failed or was blocked. The photo, the text you typed, the lyrics and the video are deleted as described above.
• Visits: where you first came from (for example a search engine, a link or a campaign), and page-view statistics from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
• Visit records: for each page request we keep our own record of the page and the time, where the visit came from (a search engine, a link or a campaign), the country, the kind of device, the network provider, and a code made from your IP address and browser with a key that changes every day. The code lets us count one visitor's pages within a day. We do not store your IP address, and we do not use the code to work it out. If you sign in with Google, we note that day's code against your account, which ties that day's page records and actions to you. The big search and AI crawlers that name themselves and publish the addresses they crawl from (such as Googlebot, Bingbot and OpenAI's crawlers) also have their IP address recorded, to check that they are who they say they are; for other tools that name themselves we keep only the name they give.
• Actions on a page: we record your first click, tap, key press or scroll; how long the page was open and how far you scrolled; when you choose a photo (not the photo itself); when the box with the credit packs comes into view; when you press a pay button (which method and which pack); and when you press a download link. For visitors in the European Union, the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland we record only the page request, not these actions. We use the visit records and these actions only to see which pages and sources work and to improve the site, and we do not sell or share them.

Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in for up to 30 days, and a cookie that remembers where you first came from, which also lasts 30 days. Our visit statistics do not use cookies. Our own visit records use no cookie. You can block cookies in your browser, but then you will not be able to sign in.

Who handles your data

We share data with these companies only to run the service. We do not sell personal data.

• Cloudflare hosts this site and stores our data, and counts visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
• The AI providers receive what you type, the lyrics and, for the video, your photo, only to return your video. xAI (reached through Cloudflare) writes the lyrics and reads them again, and fal.airuns the models that make the song, bring your photo to life and match the lips to the rap. Under their own terms, a provider may keep a request that its safety checks block for a limited time. That is outside our control, and our deletion does not reach it.
• PayPal or Waffo takes a payment only when that method is shown at checkout. To match a Waffo payment to your account, we send Waffo your account ID and the email address of your Google sign-in. That provider's own privacy statement applies to these and to the details you give it.
• Google provides sign-in with your Google Account.

How long we keep things

Your photo is deleted as soon as your video is made. Text you typed, lyrics and videos are deleted after 30 days, as above. Our own visit records (the page requests and the page actions above) are kept for 90 days. Account, credit and order records are kept while your account exists, and for as long as we need them to handle payments, disputes and legal duties.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by emailing contact@rapvideomaker.io. We may keep records we need for payments, disputes and legal duties.

Where your data goes

Our providers run services around the world, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
